About me

I am a student at the University of New Hampshire and my goal is to enlighten people about Ecogastronomy/Slow Food. Alongside showing people how to create delicious desserts based around local foods.

Growing up, all I can remember is standing in the kitchen with my parents preparing the most delicious treats. Then when I got a little older, I began making the desserts by myself. Nothing compares to the smiles on people's faces when they enjoy the tasty treats that you spent your precious time creating just for that moment. When my food brings a smile to someone's face that is when I know I did a good job.

Once I got to college I stumbled across EcoGastronomy which in my definition is the study of food and where food comes from; alongside the ethics and sustainability behind it. My blog is centered around delivering tasty recipes all while expanding people's knowledge of what they are actually consuming, and some of the injustices currently going on in our food system.
